I'M NEW

New to Christian Faith Church?

Christian Faith Church is built around the conviction that the local church is God's primary plan for making and maturing disciples. That conviction shapes how we gather and serve, from our commitment to expositional preaching and biblical theology to how we think about membership, church discipline and discipleship.

WHAT TO EXPECT

A clear picture of Sunday

Each Sunday morning, we gather at 10:00 am for corporate worship, celebration and fellowship. Our time together includes singing, Bible reading, prayer, the Lord's Table and Bible preaching. Morning tea follows the service, and from time to time we share a fellowship lunch.

Worship
We sing a blend of older and newer music, including doctrinally rich hymns and current songs that are faithful to Scripture.
Bible
We read Scripture together and listen to expositional preaching that explains and applies a passage of the Bible.
Prayer and Communion
Corporate prayer and the Lord’s Table, also called Communion, are part of our gathering.
After the service
Morning tea follows the service, giving people time to stay, talk and get to know one another.

Singing, Scripture, prayer and the Lord’s Table

Our music is a blend of old and new, bringing together doctrinally rich hymns from centuries past and faithful songs of the twenty-first century. The gathering normally begins with 20-30 minutes of singing, Bible reading, corporate prayer and the Lord's Table, also called Communion.

OUR PREACHING

The Bible explained, with the Gospel at the centre.

Preaching at Christian Faith Church is expositional. Each sermon aims to explain the main point of a specific Bible passage and apply it to our lives.

Sermons are normally about 40 minutes, and our series regularly alternate between books and passages from the Old and New Testaments. Every message is anchored in the Gospel - the Bible's good news that God sent Jesus to save sinners through His death and resurrection.
